Completely off topic, I've been reading your archives and I, too, have been keeping a list of my headache triggers. I noticed you had mentioned cheese. Cheese was brought up to me as a potential trigger but after much experimentation, it turns out it's only cheddar that is a problem (thank goodness!). When pondering the mysteries of "why cheddar?", my doctor said, "Milk is not orange, is it? It's not the cheese that's a problem. It's the dye." Gack! Good point. Thought I'd mention it to you just in case.

The same three women are always picketing Planned Parenthood, which is right next door to where I get my haircut. Sometime I go in PP, just to piss them off. I love going in there with my daughter in tow, as well. When the baby is a little older, my goal is to volunteer at PP.

I think Carter is a great man. History will be much kinder to him as an ex-president than to his presidency.
I remember when Nader gave the right wing the chance to steal the 2000 election, he kept saying "don't worry, the republicans will never overturn Roe v. Wade." Nader is a good man but he is selfish sometimes and he needs to admit that his well intentioned actions open the doors for evil men.

"Will you care for the child? It's obvious that she can't if she's going to place herself in this dangerous and emotional situation. Will YOU care for this child then?"

I have to say, this whole Supreme Court thing really scares me. Yeah, Bush is a joke and all that, but at least he can't run again. The people he appoints to the Supreme Court will affect our lives for many years to come. The power they have is incredible. And terrifying.
